Founder and Ceo
Grandmaster Anthony Bledsoe was a student of the world renown Grandmaster Dennis Brown
at Dennis Brown Shaolin Wushu Academy. In 1986, he began to create a buzz in the
fighting world and soon became a nationally ranked competitor on the NASKA Circuit.
He crafted his own unique style of kicking, which quickly became identifiable to him on
the circuit and made him quite the formidable opponent. He soon became labeled as
one of the best kickers. He is currently a 9th Degree blackbelt and has over 40 years of
experience as a skilled martial artist and instructor. In addition to his skills in Shaolin
Wushu, he also has disciplines in Silat Kuntao, Filipino Grappling and Boxing, Wing
Chun, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Meditative Deep Breathing. He is the owner and operator of
3D Self Defense Martial Arts School. He is also the founder of Silat Kung Chun a mixed
system of Silat, Tien Shan Pai and Wing Chun.
Grandmaster Bledsoe was awarded the Excellence Lifetime Achievement Award from The School of Martial Science and Fitness. He was also given the Silver Pioneer Award for
25 plus years of Service in the Martial Arts Community. He was an inductee in the 2022
USHOFMAAI International Hall of Honor Hall of Champions Distance Awards Program, and is now appointed Chief of Staff of
USHOFMAAI Maryland Region 1.
He is also a recognized martial artist in the book entitled, “Chinese Martial Arts-
Legacies, Legends, Masters & Shifus in America”. He was an instructor at Dennis
Brown Shaolin Wushu Academy, Full Circle Martial Arts Academy and The Shaolin
Kung Fu Health and Fitness Academy. He was also the liaison for the professional UFC
fighters at Master Lloyd Irving’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy to perfect their art of
kicking.
Grandmaster Anthony Bledsoe is currently the after-school instructor and the curriculum liaison for Superior Martial Arts Training Center. He was recently inducted into the World Blackbelt Club Council Legends Hall of Honor, and is a well-known and beloved martial arts instructor throughout the DMV!
